Bud Walters

Bud Walters, a native of Cincinnati, has been teaching dance for 45 years. His dance experience started at Jack Kalan Dance Studio. After a few years he moved on to the major studios and became a National Dance champion representing the United States in 1960.

While in the service he taught dance in Germany and started his acting career and added film, stage and commercials to his resume. In addition to his avocation in teaching dance at his home, he has been a professional actor and model for over 30 years.

Bud has a true understanding of getting in front of an audience and explains all the pitfalls of "nervous jitters" to make his students feel confident and relaxed. During the past 18 years he has helped many couples prepare for their "spotlight" dance.

Wedding favorites include Foxtrot, Swing, Cha-Cha, Tango, Rumba and Waltz. He loves to teach and excels in the basics of leading and following.
